Black Hole is defined as a region of spacetime from which gravity prevents anything, including light, from escaping. The theory of general relativity predicts that a sufficiently compact mass will deform spacetime to form a black hole. Around a black hole, there is a mathematically defined surface called an event horizon that marks the point of no return. The hole is called "black" because it absorbs all the light that hits the horizon, reflecting nothing, just like a perfect black body in thermodynamics.
In Tasty Planet, Black Hole can be found in Cosmos. In Tasty Planet Back for Seconds, Black Hole can be found in Distant Future.
In Tasty Planet Forever, they are the alternate skin of the Martian Goo. On PC, the skin costs 490 stars to unlock, while on mobile, it costs 45 gems.

Trivia
- When using the Gravity Well cheat in Tasty Planet to absorb the Black Hole away from its original spot, stars aren't absorbed by the Black Hole which it travels in their way. However after they pass the original place of the Black Hole they slow down and if two stars collide the bigger one absorbs the other.
- Black Hole size anomaly: Even after the size of Grey Goo is visibly bigger than the Black Hole, Grey Goo still can't eat it. This is due to the fact that Grey Goo can only eat things that are smaller and have less mass than him and a black hole's mass is insanely dense, to the point where even a black hole that is smaller than the Sun possess more mass that the Sun itself.
Glitches/Bugs
- In Final Frontier and All The Way Down there is a glitch that happens to the Black Hole: it suddenly shrinks before going back to it's original size. Note: it can get smaller than Grey Goo, but you still can't eat it.
- How to do it? After the zoom where there is the Black Hole, do not go towards it, instead eat a few Hypergiants and make sure the Black Hole doesn't appear on the screen. After that go quickly towards it and you should be able to see it. Note: it doesn't happen everytime, so it takes a few tries.
- What is it? Probably it's just a glitch (shrinking) that corrects itself (going back to the original size).
