Callyspongia vaginalis, commonly known as the branching vase sponge, is a species of sponge in the family Callyspongiidae. This species is frequently colonized by Parazoanthus parasiticus, a colonial anemome, and Ophiothrix suensonii, a brittle star. It feeds on plankton and detritus.
