Feudal Japan is the fifth world in Tasty Planet Back for Seconds. There are seven levels and one cutscene in Story Mode and there are five levels in Bonus Mode in this world.

Plot

The Grey Goo, having travelled to the time of Feudal Japan, has been shrunken down to the size of 3.21 millimeters. It eats through rice, flowers, weapons and tools in Chiisai, ninjas and samurai in Ninja Attack and many houses, buildings and trees in A Link to the Repast, eventually eating a monster named Monsterzilla. This creates another timeline where an unnamed society created to hunt down and kill monsters is never set up and thus monsters have taken over in the present day. In the first and only cutscene, the grey goo then travels forward an unspecified amount of time to the distant future while the old scientist in the present day figures out that this will be its last jump in time and it could be a huge threat to the future Earth. He then preserves his(along with his apprentice's) brain so that he can plan out a way to destroy the grey goo in the future.

Major Events

• The Grey Goo eats Monsterzilla, who resembles Godzilla, causing its rival monsters (who resemble King Kong, Mothra, and King Ghidorah) to run amok in the present.
• The old scientist and his apprentice discover that the grey goo's next jump in time will be its last and it could potentially eat the planet.
• The grey goo travels in time for the last time, travelling an unspecified amount of time into the future.
