The Great White Shark is a species of large lamniform shark which can be found in the coastal surface waters of all the major oceans.

In Tasty Blue they are found in all regions, first found in Release the Kraken. In the game's files, it is known as "greatwhiteshark_levelname" with "levelname" being replaced by the codename of a level it appears in. This can make it difficult to mod into a level due to its long character length.

Trivia

• When they are very close to the player they suddenly move very fast towards him. This is especially annoying in Waka, Waka Waka, and Great White Race where Great Whites can kill you in any difficulty.
• Waka is the only level where there are colored sharks. There are four sharks, each having it's own color: Blinky, Clyde, Inky and Pinky. Because of their role (chasing and eating the player) and the level where they appear, the colored sharks are a reference to the ghosts in Pac-Man.
• The colored sharks still appear as normal ones in the just eaten HUD and at the end of the level where it shows what the player has eaten.
• Also the colored sharks don't appear in the gallery. They are the only entity to date that the player can eat but doesn't appear in the gallery.
