Hovertanks are hovering versions of armored fighting vehicles designed for front-line combat. They have heavy firepower, strong armor and good battlefield maneuverability provided by tracks and a powerful engine; usually their main armament is mounted on a turret.
They appear in the Cyberpunk Penguin world in Tasty Planet Forever.

- Hovertanks fire lasers at the player when they are bigger than it, and can hurt them when touched.
- When they enter the food chain, they fly away until the next zoom, which they just fly from one side to the other.
