Laboratory is the first world in Tasty Planet. There are four levels and two cutscenes in this world.
Plot[]
In the opening cutscene, we see that the old sciencist has 'finally' created the Grey Goo. With his apprentice watching over him, he gets samples of dirt and bacteria and tests his new creation to see if he will eat them. He does, as seen in Laboratory 1 and 2. Unknown to the scientists, he also gains size as he eats them. In the second cutscene, we see the young scientist placing his finger on the microscope, but becase of this the grey goo enters his finger. He goes to wash his hands, but not before the grey goo eats some of his blood cells, paramecia and amoebae as we see in Laboratory 3 and 4.
